Coach Elder
The Blue Knights Uniforms are modeled after the Northwestern University/ New England Patriots/USC type uniforms.  The uniforms give the team the look of a true champion!  
Head Coach: John Elder

Coach John Elder is the head coach of the Blue Knights.  Coach Elder belongs to Professional Football Coaching Organizations where he has studied under the best coaches in the Country.

Coach Elder has been a coach in the National Public Safety Football league (NPSFL) for almost a decade.  Coach Elder became the Head Coach and President of the California Blue Knights in 2004.  Coach Elder is a student of the game of football and has extensive knowledge of the game and believes in diligent study to improve.

Coach Elder took over the Blue Knights in 2004 and over 400 Police Officers have played on the team.  The Blue Knights are known for playing spirited enthusiastic football games and giving their all!   

Coach Elder has graduated from some of  the most advanced leadership schools including the West Point School of Leadership.   Coach Elder believes the success of the organization is not just measured in wins and losses but how many different officers from so many different agencies have enjoyed the team.

The Blue Knights have been an overwhelming success.  Every player is important, no matter the skill level,  and all are welcome and valuable assets to the California Blue Knights.  









The Blue Knights and Oakland Raiders plan a fundraiser for charity next season.
